We have been helping the Austin community smile brighter since 2018. Our mission is to use the latest dental technology and knowledge to provide our patients with the best dental care. We want our patients to be and feel their best, so they can enjoy their lives.


You will never be just another chart number at Capital City Smiles, Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Sleep Medicine. We put an emphasis on building meaningful patient relationships. You will always be seen by the same hygienist and doctor for your appointments. Our office provides a relaxing environment, equipped with comfortable amenities, including plush blankets, neck pillows, refreshments, and snacks.


Even though our team works in the dental field, we all love sweets, especially chocolate! We offer sweet treats after our patients' visits.

Get to know Dr. Truong

Hello!


I would personally like to welcome you to our practice. Our practice is a true “Family” and Cosmetic Dentistry Practice. Come in and you will see!



My personal childhood experience with orthodontics, ultimately led me into dentistry. It took some convincing, but my parents eventually allowed me to have braces. The day the braces came off, was one of the happiest days of my life. I was so happy with how straight my teeth were that I could not stop smiling! I felt awesome!

I went into dentistry, so that I could pass that “happiness” onto others.


After earning my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Dentistry, I completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the University of Southern California. Yearning to learn more, I then entered into a three-year specialty training residency program and graduated with my Certificate in Prosthodontics.


My hospital training and my prosthodontics training have really helped me to see things in the long term and not just at the moment. My passion is to help educate patients and address their dental concerns. I am here to listen, educate and help you address your concerns.

She is the eldest of four girls.

Married to Arden and they have 2 kids, Abby and Miles.

They have a Maltese named Charlotte.

They love living in Austin!

Arden

Practice Administrator

Arden is a very social person who loves interacting and getting to know people. Although he is new to dentistry, he is not new to customer service, having spent the last 17 years in banking. That being said, his favorite part of the job is interacting with our patients, whether it be about food, travel or football.

Arden is married and has two kids and two dogs. His family moved to Austin from the Bay Area because they wanted their kids to grow up in a family friendly environment with great schools and friendly people.

In his spare time, Arden enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, watching football and trying the local beers. Come on in ya’ll! Arden is looking forward to meeting you!

Kitty

Patient Care Coordinator

Kitty lives in Leander, TX with her schnauzer, Lewis. She has two wonderful daughters, Sarah and Jamie and four beautiful grandchildren. She is a transplant from California and has been living in Texas since March 2018. She is flourishing well in Texas and is glad to be working for Dr. Truong. 

Brenda

Registered Dental Hygienist

Brenda was raised in the small west Texas town of Fort Stockton. She entered the field of dentistry in 1999 as a Registered Dental Assistant while attending college. After graduating from El Paso Community College in 2002 as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Brenda settled in Austin. She enjoys the process of patient education and building relationships with her hygiene patients. Brenda and her husband enjoy spending time with their two dogs and traveling to the mountains, forests and National Parks, to hike the trails and enjoy the views. 

Destinee

Registered Dental Assistant

Destinee is originally from the small coastal town of Rockport, Texas. She attended Kaplan College in Corpus Christi, TX and officially became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2013. She started her career at the only dental office on the island of Port Aransas. In June of 2017, she moved to Austin to join the city life. Destinee loves the city and all that comes with living minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown. She also loves to sing Karaoke and jamming out to music in the car. When she’s not spending time with family and friends, she is spending time with her two loving cats, Bloo and Levi. She is grateful to be a part of the Capital City Smiles family and is very excited to see what the future holds.
